Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Thiago Santos De Jesus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Robin Vanhood (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Santos De Jesus comes into the arena with Without Honor or Humanity blaring out of the sound system. Robin Vanhood will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Saam Ante and Wagner Zegers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Santos De Jesus wants to clinch up but Vanhood keeps it at a distance.
Vanhood shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Santos De Jesus is on top in guard.
Vanhood working for a triangle but Santos De Jesus defends it easily.
Santos De Jesus is in close to Vanhood's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Vanhood throws his legs up looking for a submission but Santos De Jesus uses it to pass to side control.
Vanhood tries to buck Santos De Jesus off but Santos De Jesus is having none of it.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Vanhood is not content to let Santos De Jesus control the position.

Vanhood wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Vanhood takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Vanhood tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Santos De Jesus wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Santos De Jesus tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Santos De Jesus has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Vanhood tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Santos De Jesus wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Santos De Jesus wants to lay and pray for a moment but Vanhood keeps working.

Santos De Jesus in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time.
Santos De Jesus is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Vanhood has escaped the position, nice work there.
Santos De Jesus wants to control but Vanhood is keeping him busy.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Vanhood manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!

Vanhood is trying to work for a kimura but Santos De Jesus is defending well.
Santos De Jesus gets back to full guard.
Santos De Jesus uses the ropes to get back to his feet.

Vanhood throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Robin Vanhood seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Vanhood throws a jab but it's blocked by Santos De Jesus.
A jab from Vanhood misses.
Vanhood tries for a takedown but Santos De Jesus circles away easily
and Santos De Jesus counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Vanhood's guard now.
Vanhood looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Santos De Jesus passes into half guard.
Santos De Jesus is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Vanhood!
Vanhood sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
Santos De Jesus looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Santos De Jesus is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Vanhood defends it well.
Vanhood tries to get to full guard but Santos De Jesus has control of the leg.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Santos De Jesus works his foot free and advances to mount.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Thiago Santos De Jesus dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Vanhood keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Santos De Jesus walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Vanhood misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Vanhood fails to land the takedown.
Santos De Jesus closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Vanhood quickly recovers to half guard.
Vanhood has a hand on Santos De Jesus's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Santos De Jesus takes advantage of the position though and mounts him!
Vanhood tries to improve his position but Santos De Jesus has taken his back! Santos De Jesus has a choke - it's sunk in pretty tight... Will Vanhood tap? No... maybe... yes! He's tapped! Santos De Jesus pushes Vanhood away and gets up to celebrate with his corner!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:55 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Thiago Santos De Jesus!
A relieved looking Thiago Santos De Jesus thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
