Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Colt Slater! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Salmon Chase! The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Aleksandr Martynov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Chase lands a two punch combo.
Slater is rocked! Slater wants to clinch. Oh Slater is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Chase misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Slater seems to have got his legs back now. Chase avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Chase throws a right hand that Slater ducks under and follows up with a left that Slater also avoids with ease. Slater takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Chase punishes Slater's body with a nice straight punch. Chase scores with a nice strike. Slater wants to clinch up but Chase keeps it at a distance. Chase swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Chase fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Slater tries to clinch there but Chase circles away.
A telegraphed right hand from Chase misses the target. Chase misses with a double jab.
Slater is looking to clinch. Slater showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Chase.

Salmon Chase seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Chase will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Chase throws a right and a left that Slater avoids nicely. Chase throws an overhand right that lands on Slater's shoulder, as Slater tries to avoid the shot. Slater takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Slater closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Chase scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. The fighters circling - Slater throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Slater tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Slater avoids the body shot from Chase.
Slater tries to close the distance and clinch up but Chase swats him away and circles back towards the center. Slater tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Chase paws at him with a jab and circles away. Chase throws a left jab followed by a right to the body, Oh Slater colapses and takes a barrage of punches from Chase as he moves to mount! the ref stops the fight and Slater is left battered and dazed whilst Chase and his camp cheer!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Salmon Chase!
