Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Derek Flynn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mongo Lovits (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mongo Lovits struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 146.0lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lovits shoots in but no luck this time.

Flynn drives through with a takedown into guard.

Flynn closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Flynn connects with a nice short shot to Lovits's temple.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
