Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Alexis Love (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jethro Tully (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Alexis Love!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jethro Tully!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Tiny Johnson and Alan Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Tully forces Love back against the cage and clinches.

Tully's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Tully fails to land the takedown.
Tully tries to clinch up but Love circles away and keeps his distance.

Love gets a takedown into half guard.
Love slows the pace down in half guard.

Love is looking for a kimura but Tully is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Love to get the leverage.
Tully really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Love. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Tully is staying active underneath Love, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Tully wants to get back to full guard.
Love slips a nice elbow through Tully's hands, connecting with Tully's forehead.
Love has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Tully is trying to stand up here but Love is controlling him well.
Love is trying to control. Tully wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

Love is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Love working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

Love is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Tully doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Love.

Love seems to be working for a kimura but Tully defends the submission attempt.

Love trying to control from half guard but Tully is working away.
Tully is trying to get back to full guard.
Tully is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Love scores with a couple of nice shots.
Tully looks like he's trying to stand up.
Love thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.

Love is looking for a kimura. It's pretty deep but Tully still has the half guard so he's probably OK. Oh, Tully has exploded into a beautiful escape there and after a quick scramble, he's ended up in side control on top! Nice work!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Love tries to improve position but can't.

Tully is looking to take a break and control but Love is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Love manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.

Tully throwing shots but Love is blocking nicely.
Love is trying to stand.
Tully seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Love does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Tully stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Love swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Love pushes Tully off and scrambles back to his feet.
Tully tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Love paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Love drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Love seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Love postures up in Tully's guard and throws a big left but Tully blocks it.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Love missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Love wants to control from the top but Tully keeps moving.

Love postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Tully is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Love, into his guard.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Tully enables Love to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Tully manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Tully not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Tully keeping moving, preventing Love from controlling successfully.
Tully looking to hit a scissor sweep but Love is one step ahead there.
Love throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Tully works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Love content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Love scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
Love wants to pass the guard but Tully is keeping the position.

Tully keeping moving, preventing Love from controlling successfully.
Love working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Tully's head.
Tully is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Love postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Love postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Tully is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Love, into his guard.
Tully trying to control but Love is working from the bottom.

Tully tries to bum rush Love with a series of wild strikes but Love uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Tully gets caught napping as Love dives in and scores a takedown. Tully manages to retain guard.
Tully is breathing heavily.

Love decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Tully, up you get!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Love decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Love working the head and body with strikes.

Love is nestled in close to Tully, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Love is trying to control. Tully wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Love looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Tully with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Love is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Tully has managed to free his arm - good work.
Tully is trying to stand back up but Love is controlling him

Love content to control rather than advance.
Love scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
Love perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Tully throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Love tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Tully is in Love's guard.
Love manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Tully manages to get himself to full guard.

Love drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Tully dives on top into guard.

Love has his feet on Tully's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.
Tully shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Love but Love pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Tully feints a jab promting Love to slip. Tully then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Love slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.


It looks like Alexis Love has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Horrible takedown by Tully or perhaps it was just good defense by Love which made him look bad.
Alexis Love seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Love throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Tully tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Love is in Tully's guard.
Love advances position into side control!
Tully takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Love lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Tully down.
Love scores with a couple of short elbows.
Love is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Tully can do to turn this around?
Love wants to control but Tully is keeping him busy.
Tully wants to get back to his feet.

Love is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Tully looks calm but he's in trouble here. Love gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Tully is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Love lets go of the hold and Tully can pop his arm back in it's socket.
