Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Kubrat Pulev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Michal Kozmer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Michal Kozmer has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Kubrat Pulev's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Kubrat Pulev! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Michal Kozmer! The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Daniel Bishop and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kozmer throws a head kick but Pulev moves out of range.
Nice sprawl there from Kozmer as Pulev shoots in. Pulev fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Kozmer avoids it really well and circles away. Pulev fails to land the takedown. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kubrat Pulev. That's going to take a lot out of him. Kozmer takes a swing at Pulev's ribcage but misses. The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Kozmer checks a leg kick. Kozmer stuffs the takedown attempt from Pulev. Pulev gets slowly back to his feet. Pulev moves into the clinch. Pulev jumps guard but Kozmer turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. Pulev blocks an elbow strike. Pulev pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Kozmer throws a front kick aimed at Pulev's knee but Pulev avoids it well.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kozmer throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Pulev tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Kozmer is in Pulev's guard. Kozmer drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Kozmer jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Kozmer trying to control but Pulev is working from the bottom. Kozmer is stalling in the full guard. Pulev looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Kozmer has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Pulev is proving hard to escape from. Kozmer postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Kozmer wants to control from the top but Pulev keeps moving. Kozmer loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Kozmer slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Kozmer is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Pulev's shoulder. That is not cool. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Pulev avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Kozmer. Kozmer is looking to take a break and control but Pulev is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kozmer wants to stand but Pulev has his arm trapped. Kozmer working away. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Kozmer just content to control the position. Kozmer scoring with punches from side control. Kozmer trying to control the position but Pulev is working away.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Pulev being controlled for a moment. Pulev is not content to let Kozmer control the position. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Pulev wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Michal Kozmer dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Kozmer throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Pulev's waist but Pulev gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Kozmer off to one side. Kozmer keeps the fight on the outside. Pulev wants to clinch. Pulev keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Pulev fails with a takedown attempt. Kozmer fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Kubrat Pulev has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Michal Kozmer. Pulev tries for a takedown but Kozmer sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pulev blocks a head kick by Kozmer.
Pulev tests Kozmer's chin there with a solid looking shot. Kozmer blocks the body kick.
Kozmer misses with a low kick. Pulev shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Kozmer throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

and Pulev counters with a two punch combo. Nice body punch from Pulev. Kozmer shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Pulev defends it nicely. Kozmer is breathing heavily. Pulev shoots in looking for a takedown. Kozmer tries to sprawl out of it but Pulev keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Kozmer manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kozmer tries for a takedown but Pulev sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Pulev shoots in for a takedown but Kozmer shows good takedown defense. No luck for Kozmer with that takedown attempt. Pulev shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Kozmer pinned against the cage. Kozmer gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Kozmer shoots for a double leg takedown but Pulev sprawls well. He's pushed Kozmer's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Pulev is trying hard to land a takedown here. Kozmer sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Kozmer tries to clinch but Pulev moves out of range. Kozmer stuffs the takedown attempt from Pulev. Pulev gets slowly back to his feet. The fight stays on the outside here - Kozmer looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Kozmer shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Pulev napping and manages to drive through into side control! Kozmer has hold of Pulev's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Pulev seems comfortable defending it but Kozmer has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Pulev is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Pulev is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Kozmer couldn't care less - he's delighted!
