Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Alessandro Pittana (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tony Twister (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tony Twister told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
17 - 16 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Alessandro Pittana!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
12 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Tony Twister!
The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Summer Carpenter and Bruno Hogan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pittana misses with a combination
and Twister counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Twister displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Pittana throws out the jab.
Twister feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Twister advances position into side control!
Pittana wants to get back to his feet but Twister drags him back down.
Twister looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Pittana is trying to get back to his feet.
Twister tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.
Twister is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Pittana's shoulder. That is not cool.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Pittana is pushing Twister's head away, looking to escape. Twister manages to hold on to the position though.
Twister is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Pittana is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Pittana is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Twister has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Pittana!
Twister working for a submission but Pittana is keeping him at bay.
Pittana knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Twister on the ground.
Pittana wants to get back to his feet.
Twister trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Twister takes Pittana's back.
Twister working for a choke but Pittana is defending well.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Twister working for the rear naked choke here. He's got one arm under but Pittana is defending well. A couple of punches soften him up though and Twister has tightened the hold! This one could be all over! It is! Pittana taps out!
