And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ryan Rider!
The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, David Schapiro and Russell Pearce.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rider pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Boyd shoots in but Rider avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Rider feints and as Boyd raises his hands in defense, Rider changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Rider's corner. There ya go! There ya go!

Boyd is looking for a triangle but Rider pushes his legs off easily.
Rider connects with a couple of short punches.
Rider distracts Boyd with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Boyd manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Rider manages to get himself to full guard.

Boyd escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Rider gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Rider feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Ryan Rider comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Rider has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
