Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
25 - 24 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Declan Duddy!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
18 - 20 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Ludwig Manres!
The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Matti Vanhoillinen and Roosa Järviläinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Manres slips under a jab.
Duddy throws an overhand right that lands on Manres's shoulder, as Manres tries to avoid the shot.
Duddy missing with a left hand there. Manres was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Manres fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Duddy wants to clinch.
Manres shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Duddy's guard.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Duddy is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Manres looking to sit in guard and control but Duddy gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Duddy does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Manres drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Declan Duddy has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ludwig Manres.
Duddy pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Duddy throws a right and a left that Manres avoids nicely.

and Manres connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Manres shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Duddy as he avoids it easily.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

A close round but Ludwig Manres will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Manres manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Duddy on his heels. He'll look to pass Duddy's guard now, I'm sure.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Duddy working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Manres doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Manres manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Ludwig Manres showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! Duddy's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
