Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Cedric Maake (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rocky Patterson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 1 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Cedric Maake!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

9 - 4 - 1, fighting out of St Petersburg, Rocky Patterson!
The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Anni Minnemäki and Marco Blurström.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Patterson misses with a looping right.
Patterson fails with the takedown.

enabling Maake to counter with a crisp jab.
Maake lands a lovely overhand right.
Patterson closes the distance and pushes Maake back into the cage.
Maake wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Patterson has him pressed against the cage.
Patterson is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Maake is defending well.

Patterson throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Maake's waist but Maake gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Patterson off to one side.

Patterson shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Maake pinned against the cage. Maake gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Patterson tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Patterson has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Patterson wants to take a breather but Maake manages to regain guard - a lesson learnt for Patterson.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Patterson wants to pass the guard but Maake is keeping the position.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Patterson shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Maake sprawls well. Maake wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Patterson gets slowly back to his feet.
Patterson misses with a hook. Maake ducked under it nicely.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

That was a close second round but I would say that Cedric Maake will probably get the nod.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

and Maake cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Maake fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Patterson tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Maake manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Maake is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.

Maake cracks Patterson with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Patterson falls to his knees and Maake doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:55 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Cedric Maake!
Cedric Maake spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
