Bernardo comes into the arena with Nyan cat blaring out of the sound system. The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Tiny Johnson and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bernardo lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Bernardo tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Downy swats away the attempt to clinch by Bernardo.
A slapping leg kick lands for Bernardo.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Downy.
Downy looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

Downy looking to sit in guard and control but Bernardo gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Downy is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Downy utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Downy is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Bernardo pulls his head out easily.
Downy is looking to escape.
Bernardo frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Bernardo wants to finish this one by submission but Downy is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Bernardo.
