Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jack Adios!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ryan Carter!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, and Jack Bonds.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Adios dives in and grabs Carter's left leg, looking for a takedown. Carter pushes down on Adios's head and hops out.

Carter lands a left and a right that send Adios crashing to the mat, dazed. Carter thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!


Adios is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Carter moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Oh Adios is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Adios tries to clinch up.
Adios seems to have got his legs back now.

Adios rushes Carter and presses him up against the cage.
Adios is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Carter to keep the fight standing.
Carter lands a left hand that snaps the head of Adios backwards.

Adios has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Carter uses from the top position.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Adios throwing strikes off his back to little effect.
Adios wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.

Adios escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Carter gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Adios might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Adios wants to sweep here but Carter controlling him for the moment.
Adios bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Carter's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Carter looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
Adios in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Carter will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
Carter really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Adios. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Adios trying to control but Carter is working from the bottom.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Carter lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Adios!
Adios is looking to improve his position but Carter isn't that keen on the idea.
Carter controlling the position easily from mount.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Adios tries to get back to half guard but can't.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Carter controlling from the full mount.
Carter lands a big shot there that rocks Adios but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Carter is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Adios is looking to improve his position but Carter isn't that keen on the idea.
Carter takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Carter avoids the attempt from Adios to control.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Carter controlling from mount.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Ryan Carter dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


Adios closes the distance but Carter moves to the side
letting Carter counter with a right hand.
Nice straight punches there by Carter. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Carter.

Adios moves into range and clinches up with Carter.
Adios is looking to take this one to the mat.
Carter lands a hook that snaps the head of Adios backwards.

Adios breaks from the clinch.
Adios throws a body punch but Carter moves out of range.
Adios swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Carter lands a really nice looking cross but Adios seems unphased.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Carter lands a left and a right that send Adios crashing to the mat, dazed. Carter thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Adios leaves his chin hanging out and Carter seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Adios crumbles to the floor in a heap, and the referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:57 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Ryan Carter!
Ryan Carter decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
