Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between John Esposito (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fedor Emelianenko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Esposito comes into the arena with Sukh Knight blaring out of the sound system. Emelianenko has chosen Enea Vollare Mezzo as his entrance music. John Esposito has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

25 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, John Esposito! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
30 - 19 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Fedor Emelianenko! The judges for this bout are , Frank Antenori and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Esposito fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Emelianenko bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Emelianenko takes a swing at Esposito's ribcage but misses. Emelianenko slips a jab from Esposito. Emelianenko on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Emelianenko misses with a straight right. Nice jab there from Esposito. Esposito ducks under a wild hook from Emelianenko. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Esposito lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Esposito lands a jab to the nose. Esposito stuffs the takedown. Emelianenko thows a body shot but no joy. Esposito is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches. Emelianenko takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Emelianenko shoots for a takedown but Esposito saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Emelianenko takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Emelianenko swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Emelianenko throws a lazy right hand but Esposito sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Esposito dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Emelianenko. That did some damage!
That's one minute gone in the round. Esposito misses with an uppercut. Esposito lands a nice shot that snaps Emelianenko's head back.
Esposito throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Emelianenko closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Esposito tries to buck Emelianenko off but Emelianenko is having none of it. Emelianenko in side control, throwing shots but Esposito defends. Esposito takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Esposito prevents Emelianenko from moving into mount. Esposito tries to buck Emelianenko off but Emelianenko is having none of it. The ground and pound from Emelianenko seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent. Emelianenko lands a few punches from side control. Emelianenko in side control lands a decent elbow. Emelianenko lands some shots froms side control. Emelianenko tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it. Emelianenko lands a nice forearm strike.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Emelianenko postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Emelianenko is trying to get an arm triangle but Esposito is defending well. Emelianenko is chipping away with strikes.
Esposito sneaks back into half guard. Ground and pound from Emelianenko. Emelianenko not landing any meaningful shots this time. Emelianenko moves nicely into side control. Emelianenko prevents Esposito from escaping the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Emelianenko landing with strikes to the head and body from side control. Esposito tries to improve position but can't. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Emelianenko landing a few strikes. Emelianenko tries to advance to mount but Esposito denies him. Emelianenko has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Esposito defending against the ground and pound. Esposito on the wrong end of some ground and pound. Esposito tries to improve position but can't. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Esposito is trying to control Emelianenko's posture but Emelianenko avoids it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Emelianenko works to advance to full mount. Esposito defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs. Esposito regains half guard. Emelianenko lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
It looks like John Esposito has been cut. Emelianenko not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Emelianenko thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Emelianenko seems to be looking for submissions.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Esposito tries to roll over but Emelianenko keeps him under control. Emelianenko throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Fedor Emelianenko dominated that round. The cut man is working on John Esposito's cut. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

A big right from Emelianenko misses. Emelianenko throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Emelianenko takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Esposito throws a shot from downtown. Emelianenko moves away and avoids it. Esposito takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Nice defenses there by Emelianenko. Esposito misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Emelianenko.
Esposito misses with a wild body shot. Esposito leaves Emelianenko with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. That's one minute gone in the round. Esposito lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Emelianenko backs up against the cage.
Emelianenko throws a shot from downtown. Esposito moves away and avoids it. Emelianenko throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Emelianenko displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Esposito throws out the jab. Esposito lands with a cross. Emelianenko shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Esposito manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Emelianenko won't allow Esposito to get back to his feet. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Emelianenko missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Esposito looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Esposito will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Emelianenko in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Emelianenko throwing strikes from guard but Esposito blocks nicely. Esposito controls Emelianenko momentarily but Emelianenko frees himself.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Emelianenko cracks Esposito with a solid left hand. Emelianenko advances to half guard. Emelianenko passes the guard and advances to mount! Emelianenko raining down hammerfists from mount. Emelianenko landing strikes from the mount and Esposito is in trouble! Emelianenko raining down shots from the mount!
John Esposito's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it. Emelianenko postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Esposito badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Emelianenko around the waist but Emelianenko pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Emelianenko is the winner by TKO! Emelianenko jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"
