McRae kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Slipknot - Before I Forget. Rik McRae has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Fedor Mirinova and Valeri Chadov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ivanov clinches up with McRae and pushes him back against the cage.
McRae is looking to break free of the clinch but Ivanov has double underhooks.
McRae managing to block the knees to the body from Ivanov.
McRae wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
A frustrated look appears on McRae's face as he tries to break the clinch.
McRae lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
McRae tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
McRae manages to break the clinch.
Ivanov takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
McRae throws a combination. Ivanov tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
It looks like Aleksander Ivanov has been cut.
Ivanov darts in trying to clinch
and McRae counters with a right hand to the body.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
McRae scores with a decent looking hook.
McRae jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Ivanov is rocked!
A low kick from Ivanov misses
and McRae counters with a thumping low kick.
McRae digs a good hook to Ivanov's body.
McRae scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Ivanov is still in real trouble! Can McRae finish him?
McRae scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh Ivanov is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and McRae can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Rik McRae!
Rik McRae decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
