Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Desmond Tiny (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Massimo Caraglio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Massimo Caraglio! The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Paulsen Ambrosius and Radbod Blank.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tiny throws a right hand that misses
and Caraglio counters with a nice double leg into side control. Tiny won't be happy with that. Tiny is looking to regain half guard here but Caraglio keeps moving and retains side control. Caraglio trying to control the position but Tiny is working away. Caraglio working the head with strikes. Caraglio landing strikes. Caraglio trying to control the position but Tiny is working away. Caraglio lands some shots froms side control.
That's one minute gone in the round. You can see the frustration on Tiny's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Caraglio wants to control but Tiny is keeping him busy. Caraglio tries to move to mount but Tiny blocks the move with his legs. Tiny is trying to control Caraglio's posture but Caraglio avoids it. Caraglio working the ground and pound but Tiny is defending the strikes.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Caraglio is trying to get an arm triangle but Tiny is defending well. Caraglio trying to control the action but Tiny is working from the bottom. Caraglio is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully. Caraglio is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Tiny is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Caraglio tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it. Caraglio taking a breather here. Caraglio scores with a couple of short elbows.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Caraglio trying to control the action but Tiny is working from the bottom. Caraglio lands a decent elbow from side control. Caraglio lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Tiny down.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Caraglio controlling the position. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Caraglio working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.

Massimo Caraglio dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Tiny tries to land a body kick and Caraglio decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Tiny's guard. Caraglio must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Caraglio trying to control the position from guard on top but Tiny is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Massimo Caraglio has got the better of the ground game so far. Caraglio throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Tiny works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Tiny is trying to keep Caraglio in close.

That's one minute gone in the round. Caraglio landing some decent shots from guard. Tiny wants to stand but Caraglio is controlling the position. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Caraglio tries to free his leg and advance position but Tiny is retaining full guard. Caraglio working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Tiny's head. Tiny keeping moving, preventing Caraglio from controlling successfully. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Caraglio accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Caraglio postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Caraglio throwing strikes but missing. Caraglio scoring with punches to the head and body. Caraglio pushing down on Tiny's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Tiny on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Caraglio wants to take a breather but Tiny is having none of it. Caraglio scoring with strikes to the body and head. Caraglio trying to control the action but Tiny is working from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Tiny won't allow Caraglio to pass to mount. Caraglio not landing any meaningful shots this time. Caraglio thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Tiny's head. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Caraglio connects with a nice short shot to Tiny's temple. Tiny is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Caraglio scores with a couple of nice shots. Caraglio working Tiny over with strikes. Caraglio trying to mount his opponent but Tiny defends it. Caraglio works his foot free and advances to mount.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Caraglio cracks Tiny with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Tiny is bucking up trying to escape but Caraglio cracks him with another couple of good strikes. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Caraglio looking to finish Tiny with some ground and pound. This is bad for Tiny!
Tiny is rocked! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Caraglio looking to finish Tiny with some ground and pound. This is bad for Tiny! Oh Tiny is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Caraglio content just to control the position here. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Massimo Caraglio showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!

Tiny closes the distance looking to clinch and Caraglio counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Caraglio. Tiny seems to have got his legs back now. Caraglio postures up and lands a big shot to Tiny's brow. Caraglio scoring with punches to the head and body. Caraglio controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Caraglio stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Tiny swivels though and keeps the full guard. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Caraglio is in close to Tiny's body, working some short punches and elbows. Tiny trying to keep a closed guard but Caraglio is proving a slippery customer.
Caraglio has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Caraglio's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Caraglio looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Caraglio chips away with some ground and pound.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Caraglio in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Caraglio looking to sit in guard and control but Tiny gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Caraglio can do anything to dispel that myth. Tiny trying to control the position from guard on top but Caraglio is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Caraglio pulls Tiny in close to prevent any damage. Caraglio is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Caraglio is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. Caraglio is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Tiny is aware though and is defending well.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Tiny trying to control but Caraglio is working from the bottom. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Caraglio holds on and takes a little breather. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Massimo Caraglio was stalling too much, according to the referee. Tiny throws a combination that misses and Caraglio counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Caraglio trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Desmond Tiny has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Caraglio postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Caraglio sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Tiny's guard.
And that's the end of the fight! Massimo Caraglio comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Caraglio winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
