Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Alan Glass and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith doesn't manage to clinch there - Bryan circles away.
Bryan tries to clinch there but Smith circles away.
Smith shoots for a takedown but Bryan saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Bryan fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Smith avoids it really well and circles away.
The fight stays on the outside here - Bryan looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Smith shoots in for a takedown but Bryan shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Smith moves in looking to clinch but Bryan pushes him off.
Bryan shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Smith pinned against the cage. Smith gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Smith stalling in the clinch but Bryan improves position.
Bryan jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Smith walks away with a smile on his face. Bryan gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Bryan shoots for a double leg takedown but Smith sprawls well. He's pushed Bryan's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Smith tries to close the distance and clinch but Bryan swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

and Bryan holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

Smith tries to circle away but Bryan has him pinned against the cage.
Bryan breaks the clinch.
Bryan shoots in looking for a takedown. Smith tries to sprawl out of it but Bryan keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Smith manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Bryan shoots in for a takedown but Smith shows good takedown defense.

Bryan closes the distance but Smith moves to the side
and Smith moves into the clinch.
Bryan tries to stall but Smith uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Bryan is defending well against a takedown attempt.

Smith tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Smith lands a body punch in the clinch.
Bryan jumps guard and drags Smith to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Smith throws an elbow that misses. Bryan uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Smith's guard. Nice move by Bryan!

The fight moves into the clinch position.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Smith jumps guard and drags Bryan to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Smith is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Bryan goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Smith looks to score with a jab to the body but Bryan is just out of range.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Bryan prevents Smith from standing back up.
Bryan seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Smith is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
