Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Joe Longo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Victor Alderson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Joe Longo! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Victor Alderson! The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Johanna Lukiainen and Tarja Halkonen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! No joy there for Alderson, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Longo tries to close the distance and clinch but Alderson swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Longo wants to clinch up but Alderson keeps it at a distance. Alderson lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Longo fails in his attempt to clinch. Alderson looks to score with a jab to the body but Longo is just out of range. Longo swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Alderson is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Longo gets the takedown into side control. Longo working the head with strikes. Alderson manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. Alderson is controlling Longo's position as best he can from this difficult position. Longo stalling away here and it's allowed Alderson to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard. Longo throws a strike but Alderson rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
That's one minute gone in the round. Longo keeping moving, preventing Alderson from controlling successfully. Alderson stopping the sweep attempt from Longo. Alderson thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Alderson drops back looking for a leg! Longo is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Longo manages to kick Alderson off! Alderson jumps back into Longo's guard. Longo trying to control the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Longo wants to get back to his feet but Alderson is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Alderson stands and steps away. Longo gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Alderson misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Alderson shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Longo but Longo pushes him off and we're back to square one. Alderson swats away the attempt to clinch by Longo.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Longo moves out of range as Alderson throws a body kick.
The fight moves into the clinch position. Longo lands on the inside with an uppercut. Longo breaks from the clinch.
Alderson clinches. Alderson is pressed up against the cage. Longo has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Alderson down to the mat. Alderson avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Longo clinches. Alderson misses with a punch to the body.
The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky. Alderson's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Longo wants to clinch and Alderson counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Longo tries to clinch up. Longo moves into the clinch successfully.
Longo gets underhooks to prevent Alderson's takedown attempt.
Joe Longo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Victor Alderson.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Longo tries to circle away but Alderson has him pinned against the cage. Longo's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Longo fails with an attempt to clinch.
Longo shoots in for a takedown but Alderson shows good takedown defense. Longo cracks Alderson with a good jab. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Longo bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick. Alderson looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Alderson moves into the clinch. Alderson drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Alderson looks winded! Longo has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Longo lands with a good tight uppercut to the head. Alderson tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. Longo is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Alderson can't fight it off and eventually Longo manages to take the fight to the floor. Alderson looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Joe Longo dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Joe Longo is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Alderson tries to keep at a distance but Longo has taken the fight into the clinch. Longo can't break the clinch.
Longo manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Longo knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Alderson on the ground. Alderson missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Longo preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Alderson postures up in Longo's guard and throws a big left but Longo blocks it. Longo working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Alderson. Longo is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
That's one minute gone in the round. Alderson is in close to Longo's body, working some short punches and elbows. Alderson is looking to work some ground and pound but Longo has wrist control. Longo has momentary wrist control but Alderson slips an elbow through the middle. Alderson has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Alderson throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Alderson working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Alderson loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Alderson trying to control the position from guard on top but Longo is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Alderson works a leg free and moves into half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Alderson wants to take a breather but Longo is having none of it. Alderson wants to work for an arm triangle but Longo is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Longo on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Alderson is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Alderson looking to finish with strikes here!

Longo on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Longo tries to get out of the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Alderson working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Longo turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Alderson off and cradles Longo's limp body as Alderson celebrates with his corner.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:19 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Anaconda Choke). Victor Alderson!
