The Yard Father has chosen Saigon - Get Busy as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Saigon The Yard Father is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

13 - 6 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Saigon The Yard Father! The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Roosa Järviläinen and Johanna Lukiainen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Carlyle looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? The Yard Father is fending him off so far but Carlyle persists. Nope, The Yard Father circles away and we're back to standing. Nice uppercut there from Carlyle. The Yard Father closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. The Yard Father is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Carlyle wants to get back to full guard. The Yard Father is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Carlyle looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Carlyle is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of The Yard Father's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take The Yard Father's back! The Yard Father tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell! The Yard Father is trying to escape the mount.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Carlyle landing shots from mount.
That's one minute gone in the round. The Yard Father tries to get back to half guard but can't. The Yard Father regains half guard. The Yard Father is looking to get back to full guard here but Carlyle has managed to pass to side control instead. Carlyle trying to control the action but The Yard Father is working from the bottom. Sloppy strikes there by Carlyle. Carlyle thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. The Yard Father is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Carlyle off and has taken his back! The Yard Father has the rear naked choke here! This is very bad for Carlyle! Can he survive? No! He's out! The Yard Father gets to his feet and celebrates with his cornermen. He looks absolutely delighted. In the post fight interviews he takes time to thank his parents and everyone who has believed in him from the start. How sweet.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Saigon The Yard Father! A relieved looking Saigon The Yard Father thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
