Sargent fails with the takedown.
Pearson throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Sargent tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Pearson is in Sargent's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Pearson keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Sargent's head.
Sargent has momentary wrist control but Pearson slips an elbow through the middle.
Pearson with a nice head shot there.
Pearson avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Sargent is rocked!
Pearson content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Sargent is still in real trouble! Can Pearson finish him?
Pearson loads up on a big left hand. Sargent felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Pearson looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Sargent can't hide his disappointment, as Pearson celebrates the victory.
