Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ukko Petkele (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and JohnnyB Butt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Petkele might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to M.A. Numminen - Perkele. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Yves DeLean and Elvis Blanc.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Butt takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Petkele rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Butt moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Petkele shoots in and bounces Butt off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Petkele slips nicely into half guard.
Petkele tries to pass the half guard into mount. Butt knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Butt is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Petkele's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Petkele's back!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Petkele manages to reverse the position and now he's in Butt's guard. Nice work there by Petkele.
Petkele pushes down on Butt's leg and manages to get into half guard.

Petkele is looking for a kimura but Butt is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Petkele to get the leverage.

Petkele tries to pass the half guard into mount. Butt knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

Petkele works his foot free and advances to mount.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Petkele avoids the attempt from Butt to control.
Butt manages to regain half guard. Good work.

Petkele is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Well, if Petkele is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Petkele wants to pass the guard but Butt is defending well.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Butt shoots and misses

and Petkele counters with a nice double leg into side control. Butt won't be happy with that.
Petkele wants to control but Butt is keeping him busy.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Butt fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Petkele dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Butt. That did some damage!
Petkele tries a head kick but it misses.
Petkele jabbing away but nothing is landing.

Butt shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Butt was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Butt wants to lay and pray for a moment but Petkele keeps working.
Butt tries to stand and escape but Petkele is controlling the position.
Butt is breathing heavily.

Petkele regains full guard. Nicely done.

Petkele looking for a guillotine here but Butt defends easily.

Butt is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Petkele has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Butt is looking to defend but Petkele has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Butt! Petkele pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Butt taps out and this one is all over!
