The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Andersson stuffs the takedown attempt from McDonald. McDonald gets slowly back to his feet.
McDonald tries for a takedown but Andersson circles away easily
and Andersson counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. McDonald is lucky that one didn't land flush.
McDonald shoots for a takedown but Andersson saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Eskobar Andersson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tommy McDonald.
McDonald dives in and grabs Andersson's left leg, looking for a takedown. Andersson pushes down on McDonald's head and hops out.
McDonald is trying hard to land a takedown here. Andersson sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
McDonald throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Andersson's waist but Andersson gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing McDonald off to one side.

and Andersson counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps McDonald thinking.

McDonald shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Andersson but Andersson pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Andersson slaps away a takedown attempt from McDonald, before circling back to the center of the mat.
McDonald looks winded!
Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Andersson! McDonald is out on his feet! Andersson rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - McDonald is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! McDonald is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
