Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Andreh Francisco (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kanbu Uechi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Francisco might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to No Mercy. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the bantamweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Andreh Francisco! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kanbu Uechi! The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Shigeki Fujiwara and Shigeki Sano.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Uechi scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Uechi looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Uechi is actively looking for submissions here but good counter grappling here from Francisco as he works his way to full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Uechi postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Francisco is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Uechi, into his guard. Uechi looking for a guillotine here but Francisco defends easily.

Francisco passes Uechi's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Francisco working over Uechi with some ground and pound. Uechi looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Francisco not landing any meaningful shots this time. Uechi looking for submissions off his back. Uechi looks winded! Francisco wants to take a breather but Uechi is having none of it. Francisco seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Uechi does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Francisco stalling. Francisco will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Francisco is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Francisco is trying to control the action in half guard but Uechi is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Francisco is really struggling to control Uechi but he's trying to hold on to the position. Francisco is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Uechi is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
