Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Thurgood Jenkins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Maxwell Hardy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jenkins's entrance music is Mary Jane. A fine choice. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
16 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Thurgood Jenkins!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

16 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Maxwell Hardy!
The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Steve Smith and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Hardy, right into the meat.
Jenkins on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Hardy feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Jenkinss jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Jenkins blocks a jab.
A slapping leg kick lands for Hardy.
An inside leg kick from Hardy misses.
Hardy looks for the body kick but Jenkins saw that one coming.
Good work by Jenkins as he checks the leg kick.
Jenkins takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Hardy swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Jenkins shoots in for a takedown but Hardy shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Hardy scores with a jab. Jenkins acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Maxwell Hardy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Hardy.
Jenkins moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
That's one minute gone in the round.
A nice inside leg kick there by Hardy. That's going to slow Jenkins down.
Jenkins walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Jenkins fails with the takedown.
Hardy throws a big shot that misses.
Hardy misses with a lunging right hand
and Jenkins counters with a nice double leg into side control. Hardy won't be happy with that.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Jenkins is looking to take a break and control but Hardy is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
You can see the frustration on Hardy's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Jenkins wants to control for a moment but Hardy uses the opportunity to move back to half guard.
Hardy really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Jenkins. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Jenkins is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Hardy won't allow Jenkins to pass to mount.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Jenkins seems to be looking for submissions.

Jenkins working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet.
Hardy is looking to get to half guard.

Jenkins content just to control the position here.
Jenkins has control of Hardy's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Hardy regains control of the situation pretty easily.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Jenkins working for a submission but Hardy is keeping him at bay.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Thurgood Jenkins will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Hardy moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Hardy lands a leg kick that knocks Jenkins off balance momentarily.
Hardy throws a jab but it's blocked by Jenkins.
Hardy looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Hardy thows a leg kick but Jenkins checks it
and Jenkins counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Hardy!
A lull in the action here as Jenkins stalls from top position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Jenkins is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Hardy knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Jenkins is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Hardy looks calm but he's in trouble here. Jenkins gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Hardy is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Jenkins lets go of the hold and Hardy can pop his arm back in it's socket.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:21 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Thurgood Jenkins!
