Nemeth has chosen Here to Show The World as his entrance music. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Dan Kos! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Dolph Nemeth! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Don Winkell and .
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nemeth tries to close the distance and clinch but Kos swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Nemeth tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Kos paws at him with a jab and circles away. A right-left combo lands from Kos. Kos swings for the body but Nemeth moves out of range.
Nemeth tries to clinch up but Kos circles away and keeps his distance. Nemeth moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Nemeth doesn't manage to clinch there - Kos circles away.
Nemeth ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Kos avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Kos thows a left - swing and a miss! Nemeth tries to clinch but Kos moves away and Kos counters with a nice body shot. Kos swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Nemeth tries to clinch but fails miserably letting Kos counter with a right hand. Nemeth wants to clinch but Kos slips to the side and Nemeth takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Nemeth tries to close the distance and clinch but Kos swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Nemeth tries to clinch up. Nemeth fails with an attempt to clinch.
Kos misses with a wild combination.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nemeth tries to clinch up. Nemeth wants to clinch but Kos slips to the side and Kos counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Nemeth doesn't manage to clinch there - Kos circles away.
Nemeth moves in looking to clinch but Kos pushes him off. Excellent takedown into side control there by Kos. Nemeth manages to work his way to half guard, despite Kos's best efforts. Nemeth is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Kos's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Kos's back! Kos showing good submission defense here.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Nemeth is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Kos is defending well though. Nemeth let's go of the attempt for now. Nemeth is cranking Kos's head sideways - that looks painful. He's managed to get his other arm under the chin and this looks bad for Kos! He's tightened the choke and Kos is tapping out!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Dolph Nemeth! Dolph Nemeth decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
