Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Mike Millar! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Prince Symbol! The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Shigeki Fujiwara and Ren Mimura.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Millar misses with a kick to the body.
Millar takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Millar walks into a straight right hand from Symbol. Symbol lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Millar circles away quickly and effectively. Millar tries to score a power double leg takedown but Symbol sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Millar somewhat. Symbol scores with a hook.
It looks like Mike Millar has been cut. Symbol lands a nice shot to the body.

A slow jab from Symbol misses its intended target. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Symbol lands a lovely overhand right. Symbol misses the jab. A jab lands there for Symbol. Millar really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Symbol cracks Millar with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Symbol connects with a looping right hand.
Millar is rocked! Millar avoids the body shot from Symbol.
Millar takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. Oh Millar is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
That's one minute gone in the round. Symbol lands a lovely overhand right. Millar keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Symbol. Symbol scores with a crisp jab that stopped Millar in his tracks. Millar tries to close the distance and clinch up but Symbol swats him away and circles back towards the center. No luck for Millar with that takedown attempt. Symbol tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Millar was well out of range. Poor timing from Symbol. Oooooh!!! Symbol has knocked Millar down with a huge combo! Symbol steps away and waves a wobbly Millar back to his feet! This one might not go much longer! This has been an exciting period of action! Millar misses with a kick to the body.
Millar steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Symbol. Symbol bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Symbol punishes Millar's body with a nice straight punch. Symbol lands with a straight right. Millar didn't see that one coming. Symbol throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Millar counters with a straight right hand. Nice sprawl there from Symbol as Millar shoots in. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mike Millar. That's going to take a lot out of him. Symbol slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Symbol throws a hook but Millar avoids it easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Millar has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Symbol finds it's way round the side to connect with Millar's head. Symbol might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable. Symbol paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Millar. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery. Symbol scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Symbol lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Symbol connects with a right hand. Millar shakes it off. Symbol throws an overhand right that drops Millar like a sack of potatoes! Symbol dives in to finish the fight with more strikes and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:27 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Prince Symbol!
