Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sjoo fails with a takedown attempt from distance. No joy there for Ho, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Sjoo takes a kick to the side of the head.
It looks like Johan Sjoo has been cut. Ho tries to clinch but Sjoo is having none of it. Sjoo tries for a takedown but Ho sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Ho throws a right and a left that Sjoo avoids nicely. Sjoo throws a nice looking combination but Ho bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Ho shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Ho pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. Sjoo wants to hold on but Ho pushes him away. Sjoo is wriggling around trying to escape.
Sjoo bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!
That's one minute gone in the round. Ho can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Sjoo controls the pace. Ho wants to stand but Sjoo is controlling the position. Ho looks gassed! Sjoo wants to control from the top but Ho keeps moving.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Sjoo pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Ho is keeping the position for now. Ho wants to stand and escape but Sjoo is having none of it. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Sjoo slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Sjoo slips nicely into half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Sjoo tries to pass to full mount but Ho defends it. Sjoo gets to his feet - back to striking we go!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Sjoo swats away the attempt to clinch by Ho. Sjoo tries to close the distance and clinch up but Ho swats him away and circles back towards the center. Sjoo drives through and clinches with Ho against the cage.

Sjoo tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ho falls off balance throwing a combination
and Sjoo moves into the clinch. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Sjoo pulls guard successfully.
Sjoo wants to stand and escape but Ho is having none of it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ho lands a couple of elbows. Sjoo is looking to stand up but Ho isn't so interested in that idea. Ho gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Ho throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Sjoo. Ho moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. A nice combination there by Ho.
Ho drives through with a takedown into guard. Sjoo kicks Ho off and gets to his feet. Sjoo with a nice cross. Sjoo throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Sjoo tries to bum rush Ho with a series of wild strikes but Ho uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Sjoo shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage! Sjoo trying to control but Ho is working from the bottom. Sjoo stands up over Ho, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Sjoo trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Sjoo trying to control the position from guard on top but Ho is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. That's three minutes gone in the round. Sjoo advances position into side control! Sjoo decides to stand back up. Sjoo shoots and misses and Ho counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Ho. Sjoo manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Ho manages to get himself to full guard.
Ho looking to hit a scissor sweep but Sjoo is one step ahead there. Ho pushes Sjoo off and scrambles back to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Sjoo closes the distance and clinches up with Ho, looking for a takedown. Sjoo takes a swing at Ho's ribcage but misses. Ho is looking to clinch. Ho closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Sjoo to the mat! Sjoo manages to get full guard. Sjoo really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Sjoo looking for a sweep. Not yet Sjoo, not yet. Sjoo looking to control.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Sjoo throwing strikes off his back to little effect.
Sjoo controls Ho momentarily but Ho frees himself. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Don Ho showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Johan Sjoo's cut. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

Sjoo tries to clinch but Ho moves away and Ho counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Ho. Sjoo pushes Ho off and gets back to his feet.
Ho wants to clinch up but Sjoo keeps it at a distance. Sjoo shoots in and drives through. Ho sprawls well. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Ho moves into the clinch successfully.

Ho decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Don Ho has got the better of the ground game so far.

Ho wants to stand up but Sjoo is controlling the position.
Sjoo gets full guard. Ho throwing strikes from guard but Sjoo blocks nicely. Sjoo throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land. Sjoo not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Ho must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sjoo wants to sweep but no luck. Ho tries to free his leg and advance position but Sjoo is retaining full guard.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground. Sjoo gets the takedown into side control. Ho is looking for a sweep. Ho manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. Sjoo wants to control but Ho is keeping him busy. Sjoo works his way into full mount! Sjoo raining down shots from the mount!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Sjoo controlling the position easily from mount. Sjoo tries to control but Ho wriggling away. Sjoo lands with some strikes.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Don Ho. I think Ho has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
