Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Marcus DeChamp (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ian McDunn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McDunn has chosen Lost In Forever-P.O.D. as his entrance music. Marcus DeChamp has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 1, fighting out of London, Marcus DeChamp! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Ian McDunn! The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Andrew Berry and Daniel Bishop.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! DeChamp checks the leg kick. DeChamp looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! DeChamp is trying hard to land a takedown here. McDunn sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. A clash of legs there as DeChamp blocks the low kick. DeChamp tries to land a front kick but McDunn steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. DeChamp takes one on the chin but seems OK.
It looks like Marcus DeChamp has been cut. Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from McDunn lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and DeChamp has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from DeChamp and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. McDunn avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
DeChamp wants to clinch. DeChamp throws a leg kick but McDunn checks it. McDunn drives through and clinches with DeChamp against the cage.
McDunn is stalling here.
McDunn has had enough of the clinch but DeChamp keeps him there for the moment. McDunn is looking to break free of the clinch but DeChamp has double underhooks. DeChamp wants the takedown. McDunn is fighting it off but DeChamp persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in McDunn's guard against the cage. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if McDunn can do anything to dispel that myth.
That's one minute gone in the round. McDunn looking for a sweep. Not yet McDunn, not yet. McDunn controlling DeChamp's posture. DeChamp won't allow McDunn to get back to his feet. DeChamp won't allow McDunn to sweep him here. McDunn pulls DeChamp in close to prevent any damage.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Marcus DeChamp wasn't doing enough on the ground. McDunn scores with a jab. DeChamp acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
That's two minutes gone in the round. McDunn cracks DeChamp with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. DeChamp pushes McDunn up against the cage in a clinch. DeChamp decides to pull guard. McDunn stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. DeChamp swivels though and keeps the full guard. McDunn showing good wrestling skills to control the position. DeChamp will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Ian McDunn wasn't active enough on the ground. McDunn throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean. McDunn avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
That's three minutes gone in the round. McDunn misses with a jab, cross combination.

DeChamp is rocked! McDunn closes the distance and pushes DeChamp back into the cage. Oh DeChamp is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! DeChamp has McDunn pressed against the cage, preventing McDunn from circling away and getting back to striking at range. McDunn breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. McDunn ducks down into range and throws a picture perfect right hook that connects with DeChamp's jaw. DeChamp's eyes stare off into space as he falls to the mat, out cold! McDunn does the decent thing and steps back, rather than landing any shots to his unconscious opponent.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:23 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Ian McDunn! Ian McDunn was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
