Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Moses Malone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jenna Haze (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Moses Malone has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Moses Malone seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Malone keeps the fight on the outside.
Haze lands a nice shot that snaps Malone's head back.
Haze throws a series of punches but Malone moves out of range.
Haze throws a body kick that misses

and Malone counters by clinching up.

Malone pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Haze is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Jenna Haze seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Haze moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Malone is trying hard to land a takedown here. Haze sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Haze shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Malone is trying to defend but Haze finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Haze uses his free foot to push down on Malone's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Malone.

Haze is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Malone defends it well.

Malone is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Malone is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Haze is just riding it out for now. Malone eventually gives up the hold.

Haze is looking to control Malone's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Haze avoid being mounted?

Malone is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Haze knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Haze has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Malone wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Haze, who protects the arm well.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Haze throws a combination that misses

Malone shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Haze but Haze pushes him off and we're back to square one.

No joy there for Haze, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Malone throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Haze's waist but Haze gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Malone off to one side.

Malone is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Haze can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Malone goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Haze is on top in guard.

Haze throws a right hand that Malone ducks under and follows up with a left that Malone also avoids with ease.

Malone stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Haze swivels though and keeps the full guard.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Malone misses with a jab, cross combination.

Haze's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Haze duly obliges.

The crowd cheers as Malone lands an impressive looking overhand right. Haze doesn't seem phased though.

Malone tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Haze just stands there and leans against the cage.

Haze has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Haze there as he acknowledges the shot.
Haze will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Haze changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Malone looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
You can see the frustration on Malone's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Malone is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control.
