Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Reno Raines (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Butch Coolidge (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Raines comes to the ring accompanied by The Gambler. Both fighter's entrance songs getting the crowd jumping here.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Reno Raines! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Butch Coolidge! The judges for this bout are George Francis, Tiny Johnson and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Raines throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
letting Coolidge counter with a right hand.
It looks like Reno Raines has been cut. Raines throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Raines throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Coolidge counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Raines throws a hook but Coolidge avoids it easily. A cross from Coolidge lands. Coolidge takes the fight into the clinch. Coolidge makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. Nice elbow from Coolidge. A quick uppercut on the inside from Coolidge. A short uppercut from Coolidge.
That's one minute gone in the round. Coolidge lands a hook that snaps the head of Raines backwards. Coolidge lands an uppercut. Good anti-grappling being displayed by Coolidge as Raines tries to tie him up. Raines tries to work over Coolidge's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Coolidge pushes Raines back against the ropes and lands a hook to the side of the head. Coolidge lands a shoulder strike. Coolidge lands a nice elbow from the clinch. Coolidge lands a hook that snaps the head of Raines backwards. Coolidge lands with a short head shot on the inside. Raines just leaning against Coolidge, taking a breather. Coolidge lands a nice elbow. Raines managing to block the knees to the body from Coolidge.
Coolidge lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards. Raines manages to pull guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Coolidge looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Coolidge wants to pass the guard but Raines is keeping the position. Raines is looking for a triangle but Coolidge pushes his legs off easily.
Raines has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Coolidge can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Coolidge wanted to stand there but Raines had control of the position. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Raines is trying to control the position but Coolidge postures up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Raines is on top in guard.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Coolidge keeping moving, preventing Raines from controlling successfully. Raines looking to pass the guard. Raines is working hard here to advance position. Coolidge really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Raines. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Raines trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Raines drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Raines jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Raines won't allow Coolidge to sweep him here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Raines throwing strikes but missing. Raines missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Raines throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Raines missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Raines will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Raines trying to control but Coolidge is working from the bottom. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Raines throwing strikes but missing. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Raines drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Raines seems to have locked his on tight now - Coolidge screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Raines, as he picks up the win!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kneebar). Reno Raines! After the fight, Reno Raines was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
