Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Casius Irving (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kip Slizer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Irving comes to the cage accompanied by Mosh. Slizer comes into a darkened arena with his song building. The Reckless and The Brave kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Kip Slizer enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Casius Irving! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Kip Slizer! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Slizer fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Irving to the ground. Slizer is now in Irving's guard. Irving looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! Slizer passes Irving's left leg - he's now in half guard. Slizer decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up. Slizer closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Slizer scores with punches from side control. Slizer is staying tight to Irving's torso, preventing him from escaping. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Slizer tries for a kimura but Irving is defending well. Slizer works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
That's one minute gone in the round. Slizer working the ground and pound. Irving is letting Slizer control him for a moment. Slizer decides to stand up, so the ref orders Irving to his feet. Slizer throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Irving was covering up waiting for the punch and Slizer finishes the takedown easily into guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Slizer stops Irving from standing up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Slizer is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Kip Slizer has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Slizer throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Slizer fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Irving sprawls well initially but Slizer persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Slizer not doing much here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Slizer trying to mount his opponent but Irving defends it. Slizer with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. It looks like Slizer might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Kip Slizer hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Slizer gets a double leg takedown into Irving's guard. Slizer stays in close to Irving's body and controls the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Slizer pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Irving is keeping the position for now. Slizer content to stall in guard here. Irving can't keep his opponent in guard - Slizer advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Slizer tries to pass to full mount but Irving defends it. Slizer escapes and gets back to his feet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Kip Slizer dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Irving gets caught napping as Slizer dives in and scores a takedown. Irving manages to retain guard. Slizer controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Slizer advances to half guard. Slizer seems to be working for a kimura but Irving defends the submission attempt. Still in half guard, Slizer seems content to control. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Slizer uses his free foot to push down on Irving's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Irving. Slizer controlling from mount. Slizer raining down hammerfists from mount.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Slizer scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Slizer tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Slizer breaks from Irving's wrist control and lands an elbow. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Slizer controlling the pace for now. Slizer has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Irving's face.
Slizer lands a nice shot to the head. Slizer cracks Irving with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
It looks like Casius Irving has been cut.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Slizer controlling the position easily from mount. Slizer postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Irving looks a forlorn figure.
Irving is rocked! Kip Slizer has got the better of the ground game so far. Whack. That's a big, big shot from Slizer! Irving is out cold! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:45 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Kip Slizer! Kip Slizer decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
