Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mike Gregor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tom Moore (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tom Moore is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gregor walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Moore checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Moore lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Gregor circles away quickly and effectively.
Gregor closes the distance and clinches.
Gregor tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Moore wants to break the clinch but can't.
Gregor has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Moore uses from the top position.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
