Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jorge Salvador (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Doc Thomas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Thomas is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Lunatic Fringe by Red Ryder. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Doc Thomas!
The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Joseph Jones and Eddie Farnsworth.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Salvador misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Thomas moves in looking to clinch but Salvador pushes him off.
Thomas avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Salvador lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Salvador lunges at Thomas with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Thomas's hand.


It looks like Doc Thomas has been cut.

Thomas gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.

Thomas tries to pull guard but Salvador won't allow it.

Salvador stalks Thomas and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Thomas's face. Thomas staggers backwards, shaken.
Thomas takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Salvador throws a series of strikes that have Thomas backpedaling.
The crowd cheers as Salvador lands an impressive looking overhand right. Thomas doesn't seem phased though.

Thomas has isolated one of Salvador's arms. Salvador looking to fight him off but Thomas twists into an armbar. It's tight... Will he tap?? YES, he's tapped! This one is all over!
