Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Dwyane James!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Greg Stabbard!
The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Robert Douchet and William Peck.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stabbard is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.


It looks like Dwyane James has been cut.
Stabbard throws a series of punches but James avoids them all with ease.
James circles away from the clinch attempt.

Stabbard gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
James tries to circle away but Stabbard has him pinned against the cage.
Good anti-grappling being displayed by Stabbard as James tries to tie him up.

Stabbard manages to break the clinch.
The fight stays on the outside here - Stabbard looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Stabbard closes the distance and clinches.

Stabbard turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Stabbard manages to end up in side control.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
James is looking for a sweep.
James is not content to let Stabbard control the position.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
James tries to bench press Stabbard off him but Stabbard keeps the position.

That's one minute gone in the round.
James is working hard here to advance position.
James tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Stabbard presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!
James bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!
Stabbard wants to stand but James is controlling the position.
Stabbard is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
James prevents Stabbard from getting back to his feet.

James drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says James as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Stabbard screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with James! Nice submission victory there!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:37 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kneebar). Dwyane James!
An out of breath Dwyane James thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
