Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hector Williams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Le Grand Antonio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Antonio comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Antonio kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Le Grand Antonio is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Hector Williams! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
13 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Le Grand Antonio! The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Alec Ball and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A punch combination from Williams misses. Williams fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Antonio scores with a head kick.
Williams blocks a head kick by Antonio.
Williams misses with a jab, cross combination.
Antonio fails to land with a series of punches.
Williams shoots in but no luck this time. Antonio misses with a head kick.
Williams shoots for a double leg takedown but Antonio sprawls well. He's pushed Williams's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Hector Williams. That's going to take a lot out of him. Antonio misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Antonio tests Williams's chin there with a solid looking shot. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Williams ducks straight into an uppercut from Antonio and tumbles to the canvas! It’s a flash knockdown though - Williams manages to regain guard straight away.
Williams is rocked! Williams working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Antonio doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Antonio manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Antonio is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Antonio would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Antonio postures up in Williams's guard and throws a big left but Williams blocks it. Williams is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Antonio missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Antonio trying to control the position from guard on top but Williams is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Williams looking for a guillotine here but Antonio defends easily.
Antonio tries to free his leg and advance position but Williams is retaining full guard. Antonio is looking to work some ground and pound but Williams has wrist control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Antonio trying to stand up but can't free himself from Williams's guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Williams controls Antonio momentarily but Antonio frees himself. Antonio cracks Williams with a solid left hand. Antonio wants to stand but Williams has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Antonio postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Antonio's corner is telling him to maintain position. Antonio would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Williams is pulling down on Antonio's head to control his posture.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Williams slips a jab from Antonio. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Antonio pulls out of a head kick attempt.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Williams on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Antonio. Antonio obviously looking to wear him down.
Williams takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Antonio throws an off balance right hand
and Williams counters with a single leg into guard. Antonio didn't expect that. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Antonio wants to sweep but no luck. Williams stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Antonio swivels though and keeps the full guard. Williams looking to sit in guard and control but Antonio gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Williams being controlled here, momentarily. Williams keeping moving, preventing Antonio from controlling successfully. Antonio wants to stand but Williams has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Antonio is fighting to break Williams's control of his arms but Williams is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Antonio postures up.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Le Grand Antonio hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. No luck for Williams with that takedown attempt. Williams changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Antonio tries to avoid it but Williams manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Antonio to the ground. Antonio escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Antonio scores with a jab to the body. Antonio is looking to slow Williams down with leg kicks. Antonio scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Williams is breathing heavily. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Antonio paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Antonio and Williams are patiently standing in front of each other looking for an opening. Antonio throws a head kick. It's landed, knocking Williams into next week! Ooooh that was huge! Antonio knows it - he's on the cage flexing is biceps. That's a bit weird considering he won by kick but whatever.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Le Grand Antonio! After the big win, Le Grand Antonio made sure to do all the important stuff like thanking his sponsors Diamond Nutrition 160q and telling the interviewer how much he loves him.
