The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Wagner Zegers and Daniel Blasius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Frane shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Mohamedian sprawls well. Mohamedian wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Frane gets slowly back to his feet.
Frane looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Mohamedian displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Frane.
Frane tries to score a power double leg takedown but Mohamedian sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Frane somewhat.
Mohamedian scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

Mohamedian stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Frane swivels though and keeps the full guard.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Mohamedian wants to advance to full mount but Frane doesn't think that's going to happen and regains full guard instead.
