Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Bruce Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jay Marquez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jay Marquez is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bruce Lee! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jay Marquez! The judges for this bout are George Francis, Robert Twigg and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lee checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time. Lee moves into range and clinches up with Marquez. Lee blocks a body shot from Marquez. Lee lands a left hand.
Lee is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.
Lee scores with a nice hook to the head.
It looks like Jay Marquez has been cut. Lee breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Lee throws a head kick that lands with a deafening thwack! The crowd roars as Marquez stumbles backwards and falls to the mat. Lee follows into mount!
Marquez is rocked! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Marquez slips a leg in and gets back to half guard. Marquez is still in real trouble! Can Lee finish him? Marquez is trying to get back to full guard. Marquez seems to have recovered his senses. Lee missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Marquez wants to get back to full guard. Lee is working for a submission of some sort.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Lee is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Marquez manages to get to full guard.
Lee is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Marquez working a defensive guard here.
Bruce Lee has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. Lee bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Lee clinches with his opponent.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows. Lee softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage. Lee blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Lee just leaning against Marquez, taking a breather.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Lee seems to have come into the fight with the intention of avoiding any damage in the clinch, rather than actually showing any aggression. Lee lands with a good tight uppercut to the head. Lee has Marquez pushed against the cage. Marquez misses with a short punch on the inside. Marquez misses with a hook from the clinch. Nice body punch from Lee - that landed with a thud.
Lee manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Lee digs a right hand underneath Marquez's ribcage. Marquez let out a lung full of air as it connected. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Lee's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Lee has closed the distance and engaged Marquez in a clinch.
Lee pushes Marquez back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head. Lee pressing his opponent against the cage. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Bruce Lee dominated that round. The cut man is working on Jay Marquez's cut. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Lee moves into the clinch. Marquez being controlled against the cage. The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by Bruce Lee. Marquez misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Lee.
Lee goes for a high kick. It partially lands. Marquez gets tackled into the cage by Lee. Lee maintains the clinch. Lee pressing his opponent against the cage. Marquez misses with the head strike.

That's one minute gone in the round. Good body shot from Lee.
Lee breaks from the clinch.
The fight moves into the clinch position. Lee stalls. Lee lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Marquez. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Lee's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Lee connects with a good right hand that stumbles Marquez. Marquez circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
That has opened up Jay Marquez's cut even more. Marquez thows a body shot but no joy. Marquez misses with a kick to the body.
Look low, kick high! Lee uses the oldest trick in the book to send Marquez tumbling to the canvas, in a truly brutal knockout! Lee is absolutely delighted - when Marquez wakes up, I doubt he'll be quite so happy!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:54 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Bruce Lee! During a confident post fight interview, Bruce Lee thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
