Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Cristian Carver (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Conner Magavin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Cristian Carver! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
15 - 11 - 0, fighting out of New York, Conner Magavin! The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Paulo Santos and Emerson Jorge.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Donk. Carver catches Magavin right on the button with a cross. Carver throws a body punch but Magavin moves out of range. Carver throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Magavin counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Magavin misses with a two punch combination.
A swing and a miss from Carver. A swing and a miss from Carver. Cristian Carver seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Carver misses with a double jab
and Magavin counters by clinching up. Carver has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Carver is looking to control Magavin's arms but Magavin gets an underhook and turns him. Now Carver has his back to the cage. Magavin taking a breather.
Magavin's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Magavin keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Carver works the jab nicely.
Magavin decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Carver is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Magavin pulls his head out easily.
 That's one minute gone in the round. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Magavin lands a nice short elbow.
Carver looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Magavin wants to control but Carver is keeping him busy.
Carver actively working from the bottom here. Carver wants to get back to full guard. Ground and pound from Magavin. Carver tries to roll over but Magavin keeps him under control. Carver is working hard here to advance position. Magavin takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Carver is looking to improve his position.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Magavin missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Carver wants to sweep but Magavin has passed to side control! Magavin scoring with punches from side control. This has been an exciting period of action! Carver is looking for a sweep. Carver is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Magavin off and has taken his back! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Magavin can't escape the position.
Carver is punishing Magavin with strikes - can he finish him?! Magavin looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment. Carver misses with an elbow to the head.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Carver is trying to stick to Magavin's back but Magavin is turning into Carver. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Carver's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Magavin.
 The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Carver looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Magavin has picked Carver up and slammed him! Carver can't keep hold of the triangle and Magavin manages to pass to side control! The referee tells the fighters to keep busy. Carver manages to get back to half guard.

Magavin seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

Carver looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Magavin is keen to just control but Carver is a slippery customer. Carver moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Carver is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Magavin rolls with it to try and escape but Carver cranks on the arm and Magavin is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
