Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Seu Braga and Matheus Silva.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Demetrio feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Demetrio throwing strikes from guard but Pinto blocks nicely.
Pinto wants to get back to his feet but Demetrio is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Demetrio controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Demetrio drops back looking for a leg! Pinto is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Pinto manages to kick Demetrio off! Demetrio jumps back into Pinto's guard.
Pinto has his foot on Demetrio's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Demetrio works his way back into a safe position though.
Demetrio trying to control the position from guard on top but Pinto is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Demetrio stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Pinto swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Pinto not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Pinto is controlling Demetrio's posture.
Pinto is looking to stand up but Demetrio isn't so interested in that idea.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Pinto misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Pinto really is a fat lump.
Pinto misses with a kick to the body.
Demetrio avoids a kick to the body.
Pinto misses with a body kick.
Pinto throws a half hearted mid kick.
Pinto looks to land a combination but Demetrio avoids it well.

Demetrio moves out of range of the body kick.

Pinto tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Pinto pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Pinto is breathing heavily.
Pinto throws the kick towards the body but Demetrio avoids it.
Demetrio is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Pinto steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Demetrio.
Pinto looks to score with a jab to the body but Demetrio is just out of range.
Demetrio takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Demetrio fails with the takedown.
A head kick misses from Pinto.
Demetrio throws a wild body kick that Pinto sees coming a mile off.
A big right from Pinto misses.
Pinto tries a head kick but it misses.
A head kick misses from Pinto.
Demetrio closes the distance and clinches.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Demetrio escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Demetrio avoids the body shot from Pinto.
H Romeu Pinto is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Demetrio fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Pinto manages to avoid it.
Pinto misses with a two punch combination.
Demetrio fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Pinto sprawls well initially but Demetrio persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Demetrio is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Demetrio seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Pinto is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
