Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Silvio Sierra (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Paul Baksteen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Silvio Sierra!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Paul Baksteen!
The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Daniel Blasius and Paul Aken.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Baksteen looks to score with a jab to the body but Sierra is just out of range.
Baksteen misses with a few strikes there.
Paul Baksteen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A solid leg kick lands there for Baksteen.
Baksteen getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Sierra looks to land a right hand but Baksteen moved out of range.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Sierra, as that shot connected.
Baksteen keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Baksteen takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
A left lands for Baksteen.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Baksteen throws a lazy right hand but Sierra sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Baksteen takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Sierra avoids a punch combination nicely.

Sierra fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Baksteen sprawls well initially but Sierra persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Baksteen wants to get back to his feet.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Sierra tries to stand but can't do so whilst Baksteen controls his leg.

Sierra works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Sierra moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

Sierra is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.
A looping hook to the body misses from Baksteen. Sierra does a little dance to reset his feet.
A bone on bone clash there as Sierra blocks the leg kick.

Sierra drops Baksteen with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Baksteen looks back up at him and smiles so Sierra waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

It looks like Paul Baksteen has been cut.
Sierra throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Baksteen.

Sierra changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Baksteen looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Baksteen is still in real trouble! Can Sierra finish him?
Baksteen wants to control but Sierra postures up.
Baksteen looks winded!

Baksteen might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Sierra haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Baksteen seems to have recovered his senses.

Sierra lands a really nice looking cross but Baksteen seems unphased.

Baksteen ducks right into an uppercut from Sierra.
Baksteen tries to work over Sierra's front leg with a kick but Sierra checks it.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Baksteen tries to bum rush Sierra with a series of wild strikes but Sierra uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Sierra throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Baksteen on the side of the head.
Sierra throws a right and a left that both miss.
Sierra is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
Sierra misses with a wild combination.
Baksteen blocks a jab.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.

Sierra lands a left and a right that send Baksteen crashing to the mat, dazed. Sierra thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

and Sierra counters with a left and a right... and another left... and another!! That last one turned off the lights! Baksteen has no idea who he is and is as he gazes up at the spotlights. Brutal knockout!
