The judges for this bout are George Francis, Tiny Johnson and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stenner throws a right and a left that both miss.
Stenner misses with an uppercut
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Stenner tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Hamilton manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Stenner throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Sloppy strikes from Hamilton. Those never looked like landing.
Stenner avoids the body shot from Hamilton.
Stenner throws a right and a left that both miss.
Stenner moves into the clinch successfully.
Hamilton's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Stenner tries to clinch up.
Hamilton dodges the punch combination from Stenner.
Stenner swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Stenner tries to close the distance and clinch up but Hamilton swats him away and circles back towards the center.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Stenner misses with a jab, cross combination.
Hamilton avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Stenner swinging wildly here.
DJ Stenner seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Stenner instigates a clinch.
Hamilton pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Hamilton misses with a double jab.
Oooooh!!! Hamilton has knocked Stenner down with a huge combo! Hamilton steps away and waves a wobbly Stenner back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
It looks like DJ Stenner has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Both fighters step back and shake their arms out. Hamilton engages and cracks Stenner with a massive lead left hook - Stenner tumbles to the floor, out cold! What a shot! Hamilton is delighted - all that hard work in training paid off!
