Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jimmy Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hjalti Eyj (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Jones might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Two Steps From Hell: Wrath of Sea [Extended Remix]. Eyj has chosen I'm Sexy and I Know It as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Jimmy Jones has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Jones takes a swing at Eyj's ribcage but misses.
Eyj throws a leg kick but Jones sees it coming and checks it nicely.
A slow jab from Jones misses its intended target.
Eyj looks for the body kick but Jones saw that one coming.
Jones moves out of range of the leg kick from Eyj.
Eyj with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Jones tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Eyj was well out of range. Poor timing from Jones.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Oh but Eyj is tightening it up a little... Jones has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Jones reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Jones taps out! Nice BJJ there by Eyj!
