With a record of 23 - 11 - 2, fighting out of Amsterdam, Gunnar Nelson!
The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Tarja Halkonen and Johanna Lukiainen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Koski.

Nelson closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Koski did well to prevent Nelson getting side control.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Koski looking to force a kimura from the bottom here. He's concentrating on that move too much though and Nelson pushes past his half guard into mount!

That was a close round but I would say that Tomi Koski will probably get the nod.

Koski moves into the clinch.
Nelson can't find room to land a body shot as Koski controls the action.
Koski digs a right hand into Nelson's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Nelson's gas tank.

Koski fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Nelson looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Nelson delivers a nice body kick.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Nelson looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Koski is fending him off so far but Nelson persists. Nope, Koski circles away and we're back to standing.
Koski thows a body shot but no joy.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Nelson scores with a leg kick.
Nelson lands a brutal head kick. Koski looks out on his feet and Nelson throws more strikes until the ref is forced to stop the fight!
