Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Gab Contreras!
The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Hugh Johnson and John Mangel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Grove tries a head kick but it misses.
Guara Grove seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Contreras keeps the fight on the outside.
Contreras shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Grove but Grove pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Grove wants to clinch but Contreras slips to the side
and Contreras counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Grove lands with a slapping head kick.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Contreras is defended easily by Grove.
Grove looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Contreras gets the takedown into side control.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Grove is trying to control Contreras's posture but Contreras avoids it.
Contreras works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Grove tries to buck Contreras off but Contreras is having none of it.
Contreras lands a nice forearm strike.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Grove is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Contreras scores with a couple of short elbows.
Contreras has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Grove on the wrong end of some ground and pound.
Contreras scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Grove to see if he's OK.
Grove is rocked!
It looks like Guara Grove has been cut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Contreras scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh Grove is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and Contreras can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!
