Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Carol Bogart!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Camel Bark!
The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Alexandre Firmino and Seu Braga.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bogart feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Bogart throws a strike but Bark rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Bark would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Bogart has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Bark can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Bogart looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Bark passes into side control.

It looks like Camel Bark has been cut.
Bark looks to land a combination but Bogart avoids it well.
Camel Bark seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Bark ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Bark no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Bogart is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Bark controls Bogart momentarily but Bogart frees himself.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Bark is on top in guard.

Bogart closes the distance and clinches up with Bark, looking for a takedown. Bogart pushes Bark against the cage but Bark circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Bark scores with a decent looking hook.

Bogart shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Bark manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Bark is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Bogart is doing well to control the position and prevent Bark from advancing to side control.
Bark wants to stand but Bogart has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Bark is trying to control. Bogart wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Camel Bark.
Good leg kick by Bark there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Bogart has Bark up against the cage in a clinch.
Bark is looking to break free of the clinch but Bogart has double underhooks.
Good anti-grappling being displayed by Bogart as Bark tries to tie him up.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!


Bark scores with a head kick. Bogart tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
Bark tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Bogart manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

A slapping body kick lands there for Bark.

and Bogart counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Bark throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Bogart counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Bogart accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Bark has momentary wrist control but Bogart slips an elbow through the middle.
Bark wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
Bogart seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Bogart wants to stand but Bark has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Bogart gets to his feet and stands over Bark, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Bark felt that one! Bogart unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Bark from any more punishment!
