Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rashad Banks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marvin Hagler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rashad Banks ! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Marvin Hagler! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A swing and a miss from Hagler. Banks throws a nice looking combination but Hagler bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Banks bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Hagler tries to bench press Banks off him but Banks keeps the position. Banks trying to control the position but Hagler is working away. Hagler parries the strikes from Banks easily there. Banks is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Hagler to escape.
Banks controls the position. Banks trying to control the action but Hagler is working from the bottom. Banks misses with an attempted head punch from side control. Banks in side control, throwing shots but Hagler defends. Banks throws an elbow but Hagler slips to the side and avoids it well. Banks throwing strikes but missing, from side control.

Banks is looking to take a break and control but Hagler is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Hagler is letting Banks control him for a moment. Hagler prevents Banks from improving position. Banks working the ground and pound. Banks looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Hagler is avoiding damage well.
Banks lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Hagler down.

This has been an exciting period of action! Hagler regains half guard, as Banks was trying to land strikes. Banks thows a huge punch but Hagler dodges it nicely.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Banks in particular looking to stall. Banks trying to mount his opponent but Hagler defends it. Banks seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Hagler does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Hagler is looking for a sweep. Banks is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Banks winds up and cracks Hagler with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Well, if Banks is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Banks throws a strike but Hagler avoids it easily and moves to full guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Banks 's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Banks looking to sit in guard and control but Hagler gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Banks keeping full guard, as Hagler tries to pass. Banks preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Banks wants to stand up but Hagler is controlling him. Hagler throwing strikes but missing. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Hagler postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Hagler trying to control the position from guard on top but Banks is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Hagler wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Banks looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Banks is looking to pass Hagler's guard but actually Hagler recovers to full guard. Hagler looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Hagler is breathing heavily. Banks loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Banks wants to pass the guard but Hagler is keeping the position. Hagler is trying to keep Banks in close.
Hagler utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Banks distracts Hagler with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Banks stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Hagler swivels though and keeps the full guard. Banks is pushing down on Hagler's leg trying to pass to half guard. Hagler is fighting to maintain full guard but Banks has managed to sneak the leg through. Banks uses his free foot to push down on Hagler's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Hagler. Banks landing strikes from the mount and Hagler is in trouble!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Banks tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Banks lands a nice shot to the head. Banks putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Banks looking to control but Hagler is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Hagler is looking to improve his position but Banks isn't that keen on the idea. Banks wants to control the pace but Hagler is squirming around nicely. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Banks lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Hagler is in a horrible position here. Banks smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
