The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Snooker drives through and clinches with Dalton against the cage.
Dalton looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Snooker turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Snooker manages to end up in side control. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Snooker has hold of Dalton's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Dalton tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Snooker cranks the arm and Dalton screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Dalton, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:26 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Sam Snooker!
