Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Trevor Woodie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Syntha Six (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Trevor Woodie!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Syntha Six!
The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Johanna Lukiainen and Marco Blurström.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Woodie with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Six to score with a decent uppercut.
Six scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Woodie misses the body punch
and Woodie takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Woodie tries to clinch but Six moves out of range.
Woodie is looking to clinch.

Six shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Six scoring with some ground and pound.

Six drops back looking for a leg! Woodie is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Woodie manages to kick Six off! Six jumps back into Woodie's guard.
Six trying to control the position from guard on top but Woodie is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Woodie is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Six pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Woodie is keeping the position for now.
Woodie can't keep his opponent in guard - Six advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Six tries to pass the half guard into mount. Woodie knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Woodie has hold of Six's hands but Six slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Woodie won't allow Six to pass to mount.
Woodie trying to control here.
Woodie is breathing heavily.
Six is trying to control the action in half guard but Woodie is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Six is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Woodie is just riding it out for now. Six eventually gives up the hold.
Woodie won't allow Six to pass to mount.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Six postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Woodie to stand up.
Six dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
A right-left combo lands from Six.
Six swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Left hook, right uppercut from Six.
Six throws a series of strikes that have Woodie backpedaling.
Woodie ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Woodie tries to clinch up.
Six tries to clinch

and Woodie moves into the clinch.

Woodie escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Woodie wants to clinch up but Six keeps it at a distance.

Woodie shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Six gets back to full guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Woodie works over Six with some ground and pound from guard.

Woodie avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Six manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Six working Woodie over with strikes here.
Six putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound!
Woodie tries to hold on but Six pushes him away.
Six landing punches.
Woodie is looking to get to half guard.
Six raining down shots from the mount!

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Six avoids the attempt from Woodie to control.
Six looking to control but Woodie is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Woodie is wriggling around trying to escape.
Six dominating with strikes here.
Six is landing with some decent strikes but Woodie is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
Six with shots to the head and body - Woodie looks very uncomfortable down there.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Woodie is in a horrible position here. Six smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Six goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Woodie turns into him and now he's in Six's guard.

Six has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Woodie doesn't defend quickly enough and Six has managed to lock this one up! Can Woodie escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Six on a fantastic submission victory.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Syntha Six!
