Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alfie Norks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Grand Master Yip Man (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Norks kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Like a G6. Yip Man is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Everything in it's right place. Grand Master Yip Man told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The judges for this bout are Micheangelo Fripello, Ryoma Takatsuka and Paul Gruel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Norks throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Yip Man.
Norks tries to clinch but Yip Man is having none of it.
Norks dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Yip Man. That did some damage!
Norks takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Norks doesn't manage to clinch there - Yip Man circles away.
Norks throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Norks's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Yip Man connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Norks scrambles back to his feet.
Yip Man tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Norks is able to avoid easily.
Norks moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Yip Man throws a sloppy head kick and Norks moves out of range easily.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Norks throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Yip Man looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Norks is fending him off so far but Yip Man persists. Nope, Norks circles away and we're back to standing.
No luck for Yip Man with that takedown attempt.
Norks fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Yip Man, pushing him back against the cage.
That's one minute gone in the round.

Norks digs a right hand underneath Yip Man's ribcage. Yip Man let out a lung full of air as it connected.
Norks landing knees to the body. They look like they could hurt.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Yip Man is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Norks creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Yip Man's defenses.
Norks is pushing Yip Man up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.

Norks lands an elbow that stopped Yip Man in his tracks for a moment.

Yip Man is still on wobbly legs! Can Norks finish him?
Norks is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body.
Norks lands a vicious elbow to the side of Yip Man's head that scrambles his senses and sends him wobbling down to the canvas! Norks tries to finish him with strikes but Yip Man still seems able to defend himself so Norks steps back and lets Yip Man get back to his feet - he wants no part of the ground game.
That has opened up Grand Master Yip Man's cut even more.
Norks moves into the clinch.

Norks creates some distance and fires off a vicious elbow that drops Yip Man! He pounces and finishes the fight with more strikes! Nice KO for Norks.
