The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hoop throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.


It looks like Ted Butler has been cut.

Hoop takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
A decent looking cross lands there for Butler.
The fight stays on the outside here - Butler looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Hoop throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Butler uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Hoop.

John Hoop seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
