Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 22 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Buck Blaze!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blaze works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.

Blaze shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Blaze was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Rimes is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Blaze wants to pass the guard but Rimes is defending well.
Blaze not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.

Blaze thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Rimes's head.
Blaze throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.

Rimes wants to sweep here but Blaze controlling him for the moment.
Blaze throws an elbow that misses. Rimes uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Blaze's guard. Nice move by Rimes!

Blaze is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Rimes wants to control from the top but Blaze keeps moving.

Rimes got a little sloppy there for a moment and Blaze has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Rimes has managed to get both his arms back between Blaze's legs - danger averted.
Rimes controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

Optimus Rimes has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Rimes feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Blaze's calf.

Blaze swings for the body but Rimes moves out of range.
Blaze lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Rimes circles away quickly and effectively.
Good work by Rimes as he checks the leg kick.
Blaze cracks Rimes with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Rimes throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Rimes moves out of range of the leg kick from Blaze.
Blaze lands a body shot.
Blaze lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Blaze looks for a takedown but Rimes sprawls well.
Buck Blaze seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Blaze misses with a takedown attempt - Rimes sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Blaze on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Rimes. Rimes obviously looking to wear him down.

Rimes's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Blaze connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Rimes scrambles back to his feet.

Blaze will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Some bone on bone action there as Blaze checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Rimes lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Blaze drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.

Rimes feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Blaze's calf.
Blaze swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Rimes.

Blaze attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Rimes turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Blaze throws a low kick but Rimes avoids it.

Blaze shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Rimes defends it nicely.
Optimus Rimes has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Buck Blaze.
Blaze looks winded!

Blaze on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Blaze tries to bum rush Rimes with a series of wild strikes but Rimes uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Rimes lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Rimes pushes Blaze away with a front kick.

Rimes throws a nice inside leg kick.
Blaze needs to keep his hands up - Rimes had a free shot at his head there.
Rimes lands with a thumping leg kick.
Rimes explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Rimes lands a nice looking kick to the body. Blaze takes a step back to recover.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Rimes's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Ouch! a nice leg kick from Rimes, right into the meat.

Rimes lands a big head kick that sends Blaze tumbling to the mat! Rimes takes a step backwards and waves Blaze back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Rimes batters Blaze with a massive right followed by a huge left! Blaze is out on his feet looking like a zombie as Rimes lands a final crushing right hand to drop Blaze to the mat with a gruesome thud! Rimes is running around like a mad man after that fight and for good reason!
