Savon throws a looping overhand right but Russell ducks down to avoid it.
Russell displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Savon throws out the jab.
Savon stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Savon swings and misses with a hook to the body.

letting Savon counter with a right hand.
Savon throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Russell uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Savon.
Savon throws a jab but it's blocked by Russell.

Russell fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Savon, pushing him back against the cage.
Russell prevents Savon from breaking the clinch.

Russell lands a big right hand that sends Savon crashing to the mat! Russell stays standing though and waves Savon back to his feet!

Russell maintains plum control as Savon tries to back straight out! Russell connects with one knee! Two knees! Three, four, five, six...seven unasnwered knees! Savon blocks the eight but eats the ninth - then collapses! Oh the brutality!
